A multi-national Dublin improv community founded in December 2019 by Florent and Maryland, open to improvisers of all experience levels with a focus on storytelling. The group successfully migrated to online workshops during COVID.

History

ImpAct Improv was founded in Dublin in December 2019 by Florent, who had previously built the Rice Cookie Improv Theatre Group in Munich in 2016, and Maryland. The group was established as a multi-national community open to all experience levels, with storytelling as the central approach. During COVID, ImpAct successfully moved to online workshops, extending its reach to improvisers in Frankfurt, Germany alongside the Dublin community.

Artistic Identity

ImpAct Improv emphasises storytelling as the core of improvisation and operates as an open, multi-national community rather than a selective ensemble, welcoming improvisers at all stages of experience.
