History
Improspekcije was founded in Zagreb in 2007 as a multi-faceted organisation dedicated to developing improv in Croatia through workshops, performances, and international festival production. The annual Improspections Festival became the primary vehicle for connecting Croatian practitioners with international visitors and raising the standard of local improv through exposure to diverse approaches. Operating over nearly two decades, Improspekcije built the institutional foundation for theatrical improvisation in Croatia.
Artistic Identity
Improspekcije operates across workshop delivery, performance, and festival production, using each strand to strengthen the Croatian improv community and build international connections.
Legacy
Improspekcije's Improspections Festival established Croatia as a participant in the European improv circuit and created an enduring annual platform for international improv exchange in Zagreb.
