Del Close Marathon
The Del Close Marathon is associated with the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), an improvisational and sketch comedy group that emerged from Chicago's ImprovOlympic in 1990. UCB operates theatres in New York City, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, Austin, and Edinburgh, and focuses on improvisational comedy, sketch comedy, and performance training.
History
The Upright Citizens Brigade was founded in 1990 by Amy Poehler, Matthew Walsh, Matt Besser, Ian Roberts, Adam McKay, Horatio Sanz, and Drew Franklin, beginning in Chicago before relocating to New York City in 1996.
