Diablo Improv Festival
The Diablo Improv Festival (DIF) is a three-day celebration of improvisational theater held at the Lesher Center for the Arts in downtown Walnut Creek, California. The festival features performances from regional and national improv groups, workshops for participants ranging from children as young as five to seniors, plus meet-ups, parties, and jam sessions. It is co-produced by Kenn Adams of Synergy Theater, Randy Wight and Jaime Rich of Spontaneous Mind, and Della Watson of DKW Productions.
History
The inaugural edition of the Diablo Improv Festival was held in 2025, headlined by The Groundlings and featuring troupes including Secret Improv Society, Your Favorite Story, and The Book Club, along with a High School Improv All Star Invitational. The second annual edition is scheduled for October 16-18, 2026.
