Flock Festival
Flock Festival is an international unscripted theatre festival held at Treehouse NDSM in the NDSM area of Amsterdam-Noord, Netherlands. Organized by Flock Theatre, the festival brings together improvisers from around the world for shows, workshops, and collaborative performance. The festival includes an International Ensemble program in which around ten improvisers work with a facilitator to create and perform a new format on the main stage.
History
Flock Festival was founded by Laura and Gael Doorneweerd-Perry through their company Flock Theatre, established in 2020. The inaugural 2024 edition featured 21 shows and 14 workshops from 12 international teachers over seven days. The 2026 edition marks the third edition and shifts to a shorter three-day format.
