Fun & Dumb Improv Festival
Fun & Dumb is a four-day improv comedy festival hosted by the Brooklyn Comedy Collective in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York. The festival celebrates what it describes as "the silly stupid good stuff" of improv, presenting performers across three stages in formats ranging from improvised musicals to sketch and absurdist performance. Programming includes workshops alongside shows, and the festival mixes high-profile headliners with indie improv teams.
History
The festival's 2025 edition was its 4th Annual, with the 5th Annual scheduled for July 9-12, 2026, placing its founding year in 2022. The 2025 edition featured over 750 performers across more than 200 shows and drew coverage from the New York Times, WNYC/NPR, and Time Out New York.
Significance
The festival has attracted performers with credits from The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Saturday Night Live, and Late Night, as well as headliners including Chris Gethard, Padma Lakshmi, Baby Wants Candy, and ASSSSCAT.
