ImprovCon
ImprovCon is a four-day convention dedicated to improvisational theater, held August 20-23, 2026 at the Town & Country Resort in San Diego, California. Founded by Chris Colthurst and modeled on the Comic-Con format, the event brings together newcomers and experienced improvisers for workshops, performances, panels, and community events. The convention covers both comedic and dramatic improvisation styles.

ImprovCon launched in 2026 as an inaugural event, founded by Chris Colthurst and conceived around a convention model inspired by Comic-Con.
