Montclair Comedy Festival
The Montclair Comedy Festival is a multi-format comedy festival held in Montclair, New Jersey, produced by Sweet and Sour Comedy, a New Jersey production company founded by comedians Suzanne Stein and Natty Bumpercar. The festival features stand-up, improv, sketch, storytelling, and variety programming across multiple downtown venues, with an emphasis on clean, inclusive comedy. It highlights Montclair's proximity to New York City and aims to bring diverse comedic talent to the area.
History
The inaugural three-day festival ran November 13-15, 2025, featuring over 100 comics in more than 10 shows. A one-day Spring Fling edition followed in April 2026 at DiRasa House of Diversified Arts.
