Swear Jar Jamboree
The Swear Jar Jamboree is an indie comedy festival held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, co-founded by Gabi Swain and Andy Miller with a community-building focus. Unlike improv-only festivals, it features produced show blocks that mix improv, sketch, standup, clown, character work, and other forms. The festival is hosted at The Proscenium Theatre at the Drake and includes workshops, performances, and community events.
History
The Swear Jar Jamboree grew out of Swear Jar Improv, a Philadelphia-based comedy group, with co-founder Gabi Swain developing the concept after attending a festival at Harrisburg Improv Theater. The inaugural edition took place in 2025, with the 2nd annual festival scheduled for July 9-12, 2026.
