Walk-On
Definition
A technique in which a performer who is not in the current scene enters briefly to add a single piece of information, deliver a line, or shift the scene's direction, then exits. Walk-ons should serve the scene rather than steal focus. A well-timed walk-on can reframe a scene; an unnecessary one can derail it.
