Maribeth Monroe

Maribeth Monroe is an American actress, writer, and comedian who began her career at Second City Detroit, where she was hired for the mainstage after completing only one improv class, having previously worked as a cocktail waitress at the venue. She co-created and performed in seven original revues across the Detroit and Chicago stages, then joined the Second City Touring Company in 2001 and performed internationally. In 2003, she transitioned to the Chicago mainstage, appearing in the 2004 revue Red Scare, directed by Mick Napier, for which she received a Joseph Jefferson Award nomination.
