POKER ROBBERY | The BOOK Game (they can only speak from RANDOM BOOKS) | Shoot From The Hip

Shoot From The Hip performs the Book Game, a shortform game in which players may only speak by reading aloud from randomly selected physical books. The scene premise involves a poker robbery, requiring the performers to find contextually appropriate lines from their books in real time.

The Book Game constrains dialogue to found text, forcing players to justify pre-written sentences within an improvised narrative. This performance includes multilingual subtitles contributed by the group's international fan community.
