HaHaHa Impro Theater is Bulgaria's first professional improv group, founded in 2009 by five professional actors, performing at Vlaykova Cinema in Sofia and running Impro Klas training with over 100 graduates.

History

HaHaHa Impro Theater was founded in Sofia in 2009 by five professional actors, creating Bulgaria's first dedicated professional improv company. The founders brought theatrical expertise to the improv stage, grounding the company's work in professional performance craft. HaHaHa established a regular programme of short-form and long-form shows at Vlaykova Cinema and developed Impro Klas, a training programme that has graduated more than 100 professional students, building the pipeline of trained improvisers that sustains Bulgarian improv.

Artistic Identity

HaHaHa combines professional theatrical backgrounds with improv performance, operating in both short and long-form formats and building the national practitioner base through the Impro Klas training programme.

Legacy

As Bulgaria's first professional improv company, HaHaHa established the form as a professional practice in the country and created through Impro Klas the training infrastructure that has produced over 100 practitioners.
