ImproNOW!
ImproNOW! is Adelaide's licensed Theatresports company, holding the International Theatresports Institute licence for South Australia since 2003. The company has presented sold-out Adelaide Fringe Festival seasons since 2004, performing the Theatresports format and its own Clash of the Theatre Titans show.
History
Establishment and Licensing (2003)
ImproNOW! became the South Australian licensee for the International Theatresports Institute in 2003, making it the only company in South Australia authorised to perform Theatresports under the ITI framework. The company launched Fringe Festival programming the following year in 2004.
Adelaide Fringe Presence (2004 onward)
ImproNOW! has returned to the Adelaide Fringe Festival every year since 2004, presenting shows including Theatresports performances and its signature show Clash of the Theatre Titans. The company's Fringe seasons have been consistently sold out, establishing it as a reliable draw in the festival calendar.
Youth and Community Programs
ImproNOW! has also participated in youth arts programming, with a presence in Carclew (South Australia's youth arts network) activities, extending Theatresports training to younger participants.
Artistic Identity
ImproNOW! is South Australia's exclusive Theatresports licensee, anchoring Adelaide's competitive improv scene with a strong Adelaide Fringe presence since 2004.
