Jackalope Comedy Theater opened in 2013 in Midtown Tulsa at 3406 South Yale Avenue, establishing a dedicated improv and comedy home in Oklahoma's second-largest city. The 40-seat intimate venue presented weekly programming from its founding.

Programming

Fest of Fools is Jackalope's annual improv and sketch festival held each April. The 24-Hour Sketch Fest, held in July, challenges performers to write and stage sketch comedy within a single day. The company originally launched as Comedy Parlor in 2013 in Tulsa's Blue Dome District, running six weekly shows before rebranding as Rabbit Hole in Midtown Tulsa, and then adopting the Jackalope name to build an independent brand. The theatre currently operates from 3406 South Yale Avenue in Tulsa's SoBA District.

Jackalope Comedy Theater has maintained a continuous improv and sketch presence in Tulsa since 2013 through three distinct iterations (Comedy Parlor, Rabbit Hole, and Jackalope). The company's longevity through multiple rebrands and relocations reflects Tulsa's growing capacity to support dedicated comedy venues.
