History
Saigon Improv House was founded in Ho Chi Minh City in December 2020 by Van Tran, who had trained in New York and Chicago before returning to Vietnam to establish the city's first dedicated improv school. The school trained nearly 200 students in its first years of operation, establishing a significant practitioner base in the city.
Artistic Identity
Saigon Improv House applies American improv training methodologies to the Vietnamese context, offering classes across adult, children's, and corporate tracks from a school-first perspective.
Legacy
As Ho Chi Minh City's founding dedicated improv school, Saigon Improv House established structured improv pedagogy in southern Vietnam and trained the city's first cohort of dedicated improvisers.
