The Improv Hub is Vietnam's first dedicated improv space, founded and directed by Le Kim Thanh, offering foundational courses, bilingual shows, and community events from its Hoan Kiem location.

History

The Improv Hub was established in Hanoi as the first venue in Vietnam dedicated specifically to improv as a training and performance practice. Founded and directed by Le Kim Thanh, the organisation opened a physical space at 14 Ngo Quyen in the Hoan Kiem district and developed a programme of foundational courses, bilingual Vietnamese-English shows, and community events. By creating a fixed venue rather than operating as a floating company, The Improv Hub gave Vietnamese improv a permanent institutional home.

Artistic Identity

The Improv Hub operates as a dedicated bilingual improv space, combining structured foundational training with bilingual performance programming to build a Vietnamese improv community rooted in a fixed venue.

Legacy

As Vietnam's first dedicated improv venue, The Improv Hub established the physical and institutional infrastructure for sustained improv practice in the country.
