Founding and Background

Mike Marbach founded Crossroads Comedy Theater after serving at Philly Improv Theater (PHIT) from 2011 to 2020, first as Education Director (2011-2017) and then as Artistic Director (2017-2020). Drawing on a decade of experience building an improv school and performance program in Philadelphia, Marbach launched Crossroads as a multi-city organization with communities in both Philadelphia and Indianapolis before concentrating operations fully in Indianapolis.
