Stranger Than Fiction Improv was founded in spring 2004 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, establishing the state's first and longest-running professional improv troupe. Performing at venues including the Players' Ring Theater and the New Hampshire Theater Project at 959 Islington Street, the company presents short-form improv games, improvised musicals, and sketches, and offers multi-level classes and corporate workshops throughout New England.
