Ana Gasteyer
Ana Gasteyer trained with The Groundlings, the Los Angeles improv and sketch comedy group, which led directly to her joining Saturday Night Live in 1996. She served as a repertory cast member for six seasons through 2002, developing original characters such as the folk singer Cinder Calhoun, the suburban music teacher Bobbie Mohan-Culp, and NPR host Margaret Jo McCullen, alongside celebrity impressions of Martha Stewart and Celine Dion. Her work at The Groundlings represents her foundational training in improvisational performance before her transition to television, film, and Broadway.
