Kristen Wiig
Kristen Wiig first developed her comedic performance skills as a member of the Los Angeles-based improv and sketch comedy troupe The Groundlings, which served as her entry point into professional comedy. She went on to a seven-season tenure as a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 2005 to 2012, where she created recurring characters and impressions that earned her four Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Her improvisational training informed her work as a co-writer and performer, most notably on the 2011 film Bridesmaids, which earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay.
