Chris Kattan

Chris Kattan is an American actor and comedian who trained and performed with The Groundlings, a Los Angeles-based improvisational theater troupe, where he developed early versions of characters including Mr. Peepers in collaboration with Will Ferrell. He was scouted by an SNL producer during a Groundlings performance, leading to his debut as a featured player on Saturday Night Live in March 1996. Over seven seasons on SNL (1996–2003), he created recurring characters including the flamboyant Mango, the hyperactive primate Mr. Peepers, and one half of the Butabi Brothers, earning a reputation for physical comedy and eccentric personas.
